MARI la campanilla

Mari graduated from the School of Art and Design, University of Tsukuba.
She started studying flamenco under Noriko Kawamoto while working as a graphic artist in a major electrical products company.
She moved to Germany along with her husband for his assignment.
There, she started studying under Renate Bergner.
She also made several trips to Spain in order to study under Siro and Merche Esmeralda.
After coming back to Japan, she started studying under Yasuko Saitoh, Mika Kato and Piazza Naomi.
She also made trips to Spain every year in order to study under Rosario Toledo and Fernando Galán.

2002
May She started "Mari Flamenco School" as a professional dancer.

Oct. She started the regular live performance through Dec. 2006 in "El Pancho Kitano," a long-established Spanish restaurant in Kobe.

2006
Jul. She started the live performance in every 5-6months at "Beronica" in Kyobashi, a restaurant with a performance stage.

2007
May She appeared as a main soloist on the stage of "La 9a de Andalucía" organized by Peña la Buleria in Jerez, Spain, the birthplace of Buleria.
She caught a great deal of attention from the local media.
Nov. She opened her studio "Planta y Tacon" at "El Nishi-sansoh" near Nishi-sansoh station, Osaka.

2008
She organizes regular live performance in "Planta y Tacon." She composes lots of choreography.
She also pays energy for coaching her students. She invites the artists from Spain to perform together.

2009
Dec. She held the 1st recital at “Moriguchi Energy Hall” in Osaka.
Rosario Toledo, a young dancer of worldwide reputation, was invited as an artistic director and a co-performer.

She contributes to the society by organizing lots of live performance as volunteer activities at the homes for the aged and handicapped people.

She started managing the blog in Jun. 2005. It entered a popularity vote of the blogs in Dec. 2006, and won the first place among the newest blogs. It keeps a high rank within the 10th places.
